About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Assurance Specialist to join our National Estates Capital and Transactions team. As an Estate Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing expert support in respect of assurance of estates business cases, PFI, ProCure 23 construction framework, capital input into capital strategies and spending review.

Main Responsibilities

As an Estate Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert support in respect of assurance of estates business cases, PFI, ProCure 23 construction framework, capital input into capital strategies and spending review
  • Working closely with the National Estates Capital and Transactions Lead and other team members to deliver high-quality results
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including DHSC commercial team, regional estates colleagues, and other national keyholders
  • Supporting the development of national guidance in respect of business case assurance, including leading on the review of estates elements of the business case checklist or other standard documentation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified in a relevant discipline with experience of working in a senior project appraisal or transaction role
  • Extensive and expert knowledge of specialist NHS estates areas, acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training
  • Subject matter expertise across a number of key areas relating to estates costing and appraisal
  • Detailed knowledge of NHS Finance
  • Proven and significant leadership experience and/or formal management qualification
  • Evidence of post-qualifying and continuing professional development
