About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estates Assurance Advisor to join our National Estates Capital and Transactions team. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert support in respect of assurance of estates business cases, PFI, ProCure 23 construction framework, capital input into capital strategies and spending review, and supporting the estates team in respect of broader activities where expert capital, assurance or transactions support is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure capital and other estate transaction business cases requiring national approval
  • Act as estates keyholder for business cases covering all aspects of estates and associated elements of business cases
  • Support development of national guidance in respect of business case assurance
  • Collaborate with DHSC commercial team, regional estates colleagues, and other national keyholders
Requirements
  • Qualified estates professional or experience of working in a senior project appraisal or transaction role
  • Extensive and expert knowledge of specialist NHS estates areas
  • Subject matter expertise across a number of key areas relating to estates costing and appraisal
  • Detailed knowledge of NHS Finance
  • Proven and significant leadership experience and/or formal management qualification
  • Evidence of post-qualifying and continuing professional development
