The Role:

This is a key leadership position, responsible for leading the Trust's strategic delivery in Northern Ireland, managing, inspiring, and coaching a multidisciplinary team focused on prioritizing activities of greatest impact to take advantage of unique opportunities in Northern Ireland while ensuring alignment with our UK plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Trust's strategic delivery in Northern Ireland, ensuring alignment with UK plans.
  • Manage, inspire, and coach a multidisciplinary team to prioritize activities of greatest impact.
  • Represent the Trust professionally, promoting our work externally to high-level partners, funders, and stakeholders.
  • Develop effective relationships internally and externally, influencing at a senior level, motivating, inspiring, and shaping strategy.
  • Responsible for the delivery of our strategic plan in Northern Ireland, promoting the work of the Woodland Trust with energy, flair, and imagination to high-level partners, funders, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in shaping and implementing organizational strategy, setting and managing multi-million £ budgets, and reporting to executive levels.
  • Deliver operational leadership, change management, and high-performance across the Operations function, including multiple complex projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong background of leading and managing teams at a senior level, preferably in the conservation or environmental sector.
  • Experience in developing effective relationships internally and externally, influencing at a senior level, motivating, inspiring, and shaping strategy.
  • Responsible for the delivery of our strategic plan in Northern Ireland, promoting the work of the Woodland Trust with energy, flair, and imagination to high-level partners, funders, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in shaping and implementing organizational strategy, setting and managing multi-million £ budgets, and reporting to executive levels.
  • Deliver operational leadership, change management, and high-performance across the Operations function, including multiple complex projects.
