About the Role

IQVIA is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Partner to join our Commercial Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting market and competitive analysis, identifying and integrating emergent trends and disruptive technologies into our strategic and operational plans, and supporting the implementation of innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to track the latest innovative trends and applications in the healthcare, life sciences, and technology sectors.
  • Develop strategic and operational plans to leverage these trends into business opportunities for IQVIA, ensuring alignment with the innovation landscape and life science commercialization strategies.
  • Support the leadership team in operationalizing technology and innovation projects, acting as a PMO lead where required, ensuring agile project management principles are adhered to, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Support development of offerings based on innovative trends and technologies, ensuring they meet market needs and align with IQVIA's strategic objectives, and develop business cases for new offerings or initiatives, providing comprehensive financial and strategic analysis.
  • Engage in partnership discussions with key players in healthcare, technology, life sciences, and health technology start-ups involved in tech innovations, fostering a collaborative innovation ecosystem.
  • Support development of marketing and thought leadership materials to enhance IQVIA's positioning and branding in the innovation, health technology, and digital health space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar role (Consulting, Product Management, Venture Capital, Technology Business Development, etc.) within the healthcare or technology industry, with a focus on analytics, digitalization, and life sciences commercialization.
  • Deep understanding of current market trends in healthcare and life sciences commercialization, emerging technologies, and practical innovative applications.
  • Deep understanding of technology/software development processes, agile project management methodologies, and technology/software business models.
  • Experience in strategic planning, business case development, offering development, market research, competitive analysis, and ROI analysis.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage in executive communication and effective partnership discussions.
  • Experience in developing marketing and thought leadership materials such as whitepapers, blog posts, podcasts, and other emerging communication platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data analytics for decision-making.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills and ability to prepare executive-ready deliverables.
