Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with a KS2 Year 4 pupil with ADHD in a mainstream primary school in Sale.

The successful candidate will work closely with the school's Year 4 teacher to ensure a cohesive class environment and provide individual support to the pupil. The pupil requires some behavioural management due to frustration with their work and easily getting distracted.

This is a full-time, permanent role, following a successful trial period, paid on timesheets through Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the pupil's education and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual support to the KS2 Year 4 pupil with ADHD
  • Work closely with the school's Year 4 teacher to ensure a cohesive class environment
  • Implement behavioural management strategies to support the pupil's needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to support the pupil's learning
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN, preferably ADHD
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
