Immigration Solicitor Supervisor

Gemini Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Immigration Solicitor Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Immigration Department, you will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of solicitors, trainee solicitors, and caseworkers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of solicitors, trainee solicitors, and caseworkers
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members
- Assist with delivery of training and development in the department
- Deal with a range of Immigration work, including detained clients, victims of trafficking and torture, asylum work, and entry clearance applications
- Prepare and manage funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency
- Prepare draft documents, including witness statements and processing evidence
- Attend conferences and court
Requirements:
- Registered with the Law Society Immigration Accreditation Level 2
- Valid Practicing Certificate
- Strong management skills
- Excellent client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerable client matters
- Excellent networking and communication skills
- Working knowledge of publically funded Immigration work and ability to service privately funded cases
