Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is pleased to offer a permanent Systemic Family Therapist position within the Looked After Children & Leaving Care Team. This full-time role is based in Bexley, offering a competitive salary of up to £52,698 per annum.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Systemic Family Therapist to join our team, working closely with colleagues to develop and implement services for families with children presenting to our service. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing presenting difficulties, developing intervention plans, and providing evidence-based therapy.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Assess presenting difficulties of children and family's relationship breakdown, making recommendations for interventions and providing evidence-based intervention.
  2. Contribute to the development, implementation, and audit of services for families with children presenting to our service.
  3. Provide specialist assessment of referrals of a significant and complex nature, formulating and implementing plans for the intervention to support parents and young people.
  4. Work in ways that are sensitive to and appropriate for the needs of families from a wide range of racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
  5. Provide specialist systemic psychotherapy with clinical autonomy, drawing on a range of models and wherever possible brief interventions.
  6. Maintain current knowledge of the operation of video equipment and promote ethical and effective use in line with directorate policy.
