About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at Whinfell School. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and development of our young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support young people at night, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Administer prescribed medication as required.
  • Build positive relationships with staff and young people, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Encourage young people to wake and prepare for their day, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Produce accurate and prompt written reports and records.

Requirements

  • Passion for working with young people and a commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills through our comprehensive training programme.
