Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial & Technical Asset Manager to join our client's Operations Team in Edinburgh, Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all operational assets and ensuring compliance with technical and commercial-administrative aspects.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Contract Management: Manage all contracts connected to operational assets, ensuring compliance with deliverables and technical-commercial aspects.
  • Asset Integration: Support the integration of new assets into the operational phase, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and local authorities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Asset Performance: Monitor and track the performance of operational assets, ensuring compliance with KPIs and company guidelines.
  • O&M Activities: Coordinate and monitor all O&M activities, liaising with external contractors to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze technical issues and faults, efficiently coordinate problem-solving, and evaluate opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvements.
  • Financial Management: Continuously monitor operating costs, ensuring budget compliance and processing invoices related to asset contracts.
  • Annual Budget Preparation: Support in annual budget preparation, defining the scope of work/services and tender management/contract negotiation.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Academic Background: Engineering, Renewable Energies, or Project Management.
  • Industry Experience: 2-3 years of experience within the wind onshore industry, in asset or operations management.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of HSE UK legislation relevant for the renewable energy sector, technical and/or general market knowledge, and proficiency in SCADA, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
  • Language Skills: Professional English knowledge (written and spoken).
