About the Role

UKOS BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Lead Technical Asset Manager to join their team. As a key member of the Technical Asset Management Team, you will be responsible for guiding and managing a team of Technical Asset Managers and Regional Site Managers to meet contractual deadlines and demands.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Take ownership of the BayWa r.e. portfolio of wind farms and ensure successful delivery of contracted scope of services.
  2. Set and report on wind KPIs to monitor department performance.
  3. Manage OPEX for team and SPV budgets.
  4. Act as escalation point of contact for clients on project issues, organizing regular update calls and producing monthly reports.
  5. Participate in the adoption and integration of new projects into operations.
  6. Identify, select, and manage local companies to undertake works.
  7. Ensure works are organized to maximize performance and safe operation of the plant.
  8. Ensure all activities are carried out under the approved UK HSE system and/or in compliance with other industry rules and regulations.
  9. Lead on contractual/commercial matters with O+M providers.
  10. Assist with regulatory issues on behalf of the client.
  11. Participate in and verify routine HSQE and technical audits of wind sites assets and operations.

Requirements

  1. Background in Engineering or relevant discipline and proven track record in Project Management.
  2. Excellent line management skills and ability to work with various key stakeholders.
  3. Demonstrable experience in understanding and managing contracts.
  4. Knowledge of wind turbine technology and operations.
  5. Knowledge of SCADA systems and analysis of technical data.
  6. Naturally well-prepared and organized, able to deal with competing priorities, manage a diverse workload, and meet targets and deadlines.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate at various levels.
  8. Excellent IT skills.
  9. Valid driving license required.
  10. Knowledge of HV systems, UK Grid Requirements, programming for analysis of technical data desirable.
  11. Understanding of UK HSQE legislation and valid IOSH or NEBOSH qualification and Project Management qualification desirable.
  12. GWO experience.
  13. Technical Asset or Site Management Experience.
  14. Eligibility to work in the UK.
