We are currently seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to join our team on a long-term temporary contract. As a Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering, assessing, and internal verifying engineering courses up to level 2 in-house, as well as assessing and internal verifying level 3 competencies within the company in line with apprenticeship standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and track the timely completion of all elements of the apprentice standard, mentoring apprentices in the development of their knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for the standard.
  2. Review course content and delivery methods to allow for future needs and update working methods, techniques, and own professional development.
  3. Ensure the company's Zero Harm culture and compliance guidelines are upheld.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification.
  2. Training Assessment and Quality Assurance Award (TAQA).
  3. Hold or have the ability to obtain enhanced DBS security clearance with Adults and Children's Barred listed.
  4. Machining experience would be desirable.
