Job Title: Qualified Finance Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Qualified Finance Manager to join our client's team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will have a strong background in a regulated industry and excellent financial management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and produce accurate and timely financial reports, including month-end journals and management accounts.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and maintain budget and forecast models, ensuring timely reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Control: Reconcile all bank accounts, control accounts, and asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Governance: Assist with audits, ensure all FCA reporting requirements are met, and handle quarterly CT61 submissions and Companies House submissions.
  • Financial Operations: Manage payroll, staff pension payments, and special projects, including R&D claims and insurance renewals.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Finance Manager (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Significant experience in the Financial Services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
  • Proficient in Xero accounting software.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
