Job Title: Senior Financial ManagerIndustry: Financial ServicesLocation: Liverpool

Overview:April Faith Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join a leading FCA-regulated provider of guarantor loans. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and developing a new finance team following a recent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and produce accurate and timely financial reports, including month-end journals and management accounts.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and maintain budget and forecast models to ensure the company's continued success and compliance.
  • Financial Control: Reconcile all bank accounts and control accounts to maintain accuracy and ensure timely reporting.
  • Payroll Management: Produce weekly payroll, manage associated journals, and oversee staff pension payments.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to the Director.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
