Rail Industry Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Plant Fitter to join our maintenance team at Morson Talent. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining CNC Machines and overhead cranes in the rail industry. This involves ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment through proactive and reactive maintenance.
You will need to be experienced in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues using your knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with PLCs, Heidenhain, and/or Fanuc control systems is beneficial for fault finding purposes. A Mechanical qualification, level 3 or equivalent, is required for this role. MEWP certification would be beneficial but can be trained if necessary.
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, with an estimated salary range of £27.68/hour PAYE + 16.59% AWR OR £36.91 Umbrella.
