Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of the leading Manufacturers in Norfolk, Greater Yarmouth. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring production plan adherence and contributing to the company's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
  2. Respond to breakdowns on production equipment and resolve issues efficiently.
  3. Provide continuous improvement ideas and solutions for production processes.
  4. Work collaboratively with the team to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
  5. Assist with filling and packaging equipment set-up/changeovers when necessary.
  6. Ensure adherence to weekly production plans and meet quality standards.
  7. Utilize mechanical engineering skills to maintain and repair equipment.
  8. Collaborate with production teams to provide excellent customer service.
  9. NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical discipline and relevant experience.

Shift Pattern:

Hours:

Week one:
Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm
Friday 6am to 1pm

Week two:
Monday to Thursday 1.45pm

Requirements:

Applicants should have a strong background in mechanical engineering, filling and packaging equipment, and experience working in an FMCG or pharmaceutical environment.
