Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Synergi. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
- Respond to breakdowns on production equipment and resolve issues efficiently.
- Work closely with the production team to identify and implement improvements to production processes.
- Provide continuous improvement ideas and solutions for production processes.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
- Assist with filling and packaging equipment set-up/changeovers when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to weekly production plans and maintain high-quality standards.
- Utilize mechanical engineering skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical environments working with packaging and manufacturing equipment.
- Competent computer user with experience of Microsoft software packages.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
- NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical discipline.
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experience.
Shift Pattern:
Hours:
Week One: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm; Friday 6am to 1pm
Week Two: Monday to Thursday 1.45pm
Other Benefits:
- Competitive salary, salary reviewed annually with an annual bonus payable in May depending on Company performance.
- Holiday is 25 days less 4 to cover Christmas closure plus bank holidays.
- Pension offered at 5%, increasing to 6% after 5 years' service, this is offered on a matched/salary exchange basis.
- Life Assurance, payable at 4 times basic salary.
