Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Synergi. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. If you have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, and a passion for delivering high-quality results, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
  2. Respond to breakdowns on production equipment and resolve issues efficiently.
  3. Work closely with the production team to identify and implement improvements to production processes.
  4. Provide continuous improvement ideas and solutions for production processes.
  5. Collaborate with the Engineering team to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
  6. Assist with filling and packaging equipment set-up/changeovers when necessary.
  7. Ensure adherence to weekly production plans and deadlines.
  8. Utilize your mechanical and electrical engineering expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  9. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our manufacturing processes and equipment.
  10. Communicate effectively with the production team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical discipline.
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experience.
  • Competent computer user with experience of Microsoft software packages.
  • Determination to provide a high degree of 'customer service' to the production teams.
