Job Summary

This role will lead to a Development Manager position, offering career growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have an electrical background, preferably in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations to enhance machine and process effectiveness.

* Assist in managing engineering projects from inception through to completion, including writing equipment specifications, managing resources, implementing and monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with budgetary limitations.

* Adhere to company Health and Safety requirements and provide hands-on support to the Engineering team.

* Good working knowledge of PLC and servo drive / control systems.

* IT literate, Competency in CAD, ideally 2D AutoCAD.

* Experience in installing and commissioning new equipment.

* Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations and contractor management.

Benefits:

* 25 days annual leave, inclusive of a shutdown at Christmas plus bank holidays.

* Company sick pay up to 24 weeks (increasing with years of service).
