About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Social Care Professional to join our team. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster parents and children's social workers to achieve the best possible outcomes for all our children and foster carers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to foster families with a realistic caseload (10 to 12 families)
  • Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure foster parents are informed, accept, understand and operate within the regulations and national minimum standards
  • Collaborate with the therapy team to offer reflective supervision and support from our Education Advisors (EAGALs)

Requirements

  • Desire to be a team player who wants to achieve best possible outcomes for all our children and foster carers
  • Experience of working in the fostering sector and/or children/young people in social care
  • Hold a formal social work qualification
  • Be registered as a social worker with Social Work England
  • Have a valid driving license
  • The right to work in the UK
