About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Supervising Social Worker to join our team at By the Bridge with Cambian. As a key member of our Regional team, you will provide direct support to our foster families, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure they are informed, supported, and empowered to provide the best possible care for our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer direct support to foster families, providing guidance and expertise to help them navigate the complexities of foster care.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including therapy teams and education advisors, to ensure a cohesive and supportive approach to care.
- Provide reflective supervision and support to foster parents, helping them to develop their skills and confidence in caring for our children.
- Collaborate with the Regional team to ensure that our foster families receive the best possible support and resources.

Requirements
- Desire to be a team player who wants to achieve the best possible outcomes for all our children and foster carers.
- Experience of working in the fostering sector and/or children/young people in social care.
- Hold a formal social work qualification.
- Be registered as a social worker with Social Work England.
- Have a valid driving license.
- The right to work in the UK.
