We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team at a SEN school in Totnes, Devon.
About the Role
- Plan and deliver an inspiring curriculum that enables all pupils to make good progress, enjoy and achieve.
- Encourage pupil participation in all lessons and in other school-related activities.
- Plan and teach clear, high-quality lessons to support pupils to make good or outstanding progress and to embed key concepts in their long-term memory.
- Set clear targets for pupils' learning, building on prior attainment and considering each pupil as an individual.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS/PGCE) preferred but other recognised teaching qualification considered.
- Ability to prepare and deliver appropriate curriculum using a range of teaching styles and methodologies.
- Experience within an SEN setting an advantage.
- The successful candidate will be expected to work on outreach and at school sites, so you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
- Ability to teach another subject is an advantage.
