At Marie Curie UK, we are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality care to patients with terminal illnesses.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of our dedicated team providing specialist end-of-life care and support to patients and their families in their own homes. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one holistic care, including helping patients meet their hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications, and keeping detailed records.

We offer a competitive salary of £22,383 per annum, plus enhancements for weekend and night shifts. Our benefits package includes season ticket loan, pension scheme, and life assurance.

Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience
  • Current valid driving license and use of a car insured for business use
  • Relevant experience in palliative care desirable

Please note that due to the nature of the role, the ability to work nights is essential.
