Transforming Public Transport Technology

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Development: Work closely with clients to identify, design, and tailor technology solutions that meet requirements around vehicle location, ticketing, passenger information, and operational planning.
  • System Integration: Act as the bridge between customer needs and available technology, leveraging existing products and collaborating with internal SMEs to integrate different systems and ensure cohesive functionality.
  • Technical Advisory: Advise clients on the practicalities of integrating ticketing systems, AVL systems, and planning solutions, as well as future scalability and adaptation for complex operational demands.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Facilitate workshops and whiteboard sessions with internal and external stakeholders to align system architecture and application design with the client's operational goals.
  • Product Expertise: Keep up-to-date with industry competitors and technological advancements, understanding how various systems like ticketing and AVL interlink to meet real-time passenger information needs.
  • Support & Training: Provide guidance and training to clients, ensuring they can utilize and maintain their systems effectively without needing foundational industry knowledge or complex IT support.
