About the Role:

Royal Mail Technology is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect to create a team of architects that will support the RMG Operations, Commercial or technology platforms.

The Lead Solution Architect will ensure all IT projects within their area are appropriately architected, adherent to best practice and RMG Standards, Principles and Policies.

The Lead Solution Architect will report to the Director of Architecture and will work with other Solution Architects across the technology organisation.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of leading teams of Solution Architects and multi-disciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include experience in systems delivery including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support.

Additionally, the candidate should have mastery of defining the technical architecture design principles and planning, design and implementation of complex systems architectures.

Experience of working with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence is also required.

A proven experience of large scale digital transformation is essential.

The successful candidate will have qualifications such as Architecture training/qualifications e.g. TOGAF, Microsoft Azure certified, AWS certified etc.

Agile training/qualifications or experience incl. Scrum & Kanban is also required.
