We are seeking an experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care in acute mental health settings.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have significant experience as a Band 5 nurse, with a proven track record of leadership skills and the ability to oversee assessments of care needs. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs of care for clients requiring treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, promoting effective communication and collaboration
  • Assess and implement individualized care plans, ensuring quality outcomes
  • Take charge of the unit in the absence of the Ward Manager, including bed management
  • Supervise and mentor staff, promoting continuous learning and development
