About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Industrial Finishing. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading and directing all aspects of audit services delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead audit teams on a range of clients, ensuring high-quality audit services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Develop and implement audit strategies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance audit processes.
  3. Manage and develop staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  4. Engage with clients directly, providing technical and audit judgment decisions, and ensuring their needs are met.
  5. Manage budgets, WiP control, and billing, ensuring profitability is maximized from a portfolio of clients.

Requirements

  1. ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
  2. Significant experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to clients.
  3. Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
  4. Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.
  5. Business development experience, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
