Role Overview

The Accounts Payable Assistant will provide critical support to the Finance team at London Business School, specifically in the areas of Executive Education custom programs and the LBS Student Association. This role involves processing purchase ledger invoices and payments, managing internal recharging of central contracts, and assisting with monthly reporting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process purchase ledger invoices and payments for Executive Education Custom programs and LBS Student Association
  • Resolve daily supplier account queries
  • Produce and review a weekly BACS run
  • Manage expenses, including queries and daily uploads
  • Conduct monthly creditor account analysis with debit balances as required

Requirements

  • Bookkeeping, AAT, or equivalent qualification, or qualified by experience
  • Ability to think independently and work with routine tasks
  • Previous high-volume purchase ledger experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to address various stakeholders
  • Sound working knowledge of standard IT packages, systems, and/or databases
  • Proactive approach to relationship development with colleagues
  • Good attention to detail
