Randstad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our world-class HR team. As a key member of our HR shared services team, you will provide a professional, comprehensive, proactive, and responsive HR service to the business, with a strong emphasis on employee relations and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other team members to identify key priorities and align with the HR strategy.
- Support, coach, and upskill managers in all Employee Relations matters, including performance management, absence management, disciplinaries, grievances, and redundancies.
- Manage end-to-end Employee Relations cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Provide generalist support to the business, including onboarding, exit interviews, and contributing to regional and global projects.
- Work closely with the wider HR team, including HR Shared Services, Learning & Development, Internal Talent Acquisition, and Inclusion & Wellbeing teams.
- Assist in maintaining, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures, as well as job descriptions.
- Stay up-to-date with UK employment legislation and provide expert advice on HR matters.
- Support engagement initiatives, using data to identify areas for improvement and create action plans to positively influence employee engagement, turnover, and stability.
- Collaborate with other departments to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
- Strong employee relations advisory skills.
- Excellent influencing skills.
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation and ability to translate it into policy and practice.
- Knowledge of Human Resources practices, including current developments in the profession.
- Ability to work with integrity and compassion when needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational ability.
