Job Summary

Our client, a leading insurance broker, is seeking an experienced Client Handler to join their Private Clients/HNW team in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high net worth insurance clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless policy administration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handling new and existing client relationships, including HNW risks such as household, motor, art, and travel insurance
  • Processing new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely completion
  • Preparing and issuing insurance documentation, including certificates and policy documents
  • Meeting with clients as required to discuss policy details and provide guidance
  • Ensuring accurate and timely recording of customer details and policy information
  • Confirming cover with insurers, processing policies, and chasing outstanding documentation as needed
  • Managing the issuance of client certificates and dealing with account queries

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar insurance role, preferably with a focus on HNW clients
  • Strong knowledge of HNW insurance products and services
  • Excellent IT skills and proficiency in insurance software

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
