About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating Scrum events, removing barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams, and influencing the removal of impediments to help the team become self-organizing and empowered to create, innovate, and make decisions for themselves as one team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and implement Scrum Framework best practices
  • Facilitate Scrum Events internally and with external suppliers
  • Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams
  • Influence the removal of impediments and help the team to become self-organizing and empowered to create, innovate, and make decisions for themselves as one team

Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge and experience of the Scrum Framework, with a track record working as a Certified Scrum Master
  • Have a Servant Leadership mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring Scrum Teams and large Programmes
  • Proven experience of working in an organisation going through cultural change aligned to the Agile Methodology
  • Experience working in an IT Platform industry
  • Experience working in Financial Services sector would be desirable
