Job Overview

Bournemouth Airport seeks a detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join their Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in finance to contribute to the efficient operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Ledger Management: Generate sales invoices, import billing data, resolve customer queries, and ensure timely payments.
  • Purchase Ledger Processing: Post supplier invoices, obtain payment approvals, and process payment runs.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Conduct bank and petty cash reconciliations, post transactions, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Month-End Support: Assist with month-end processes and reporting, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Provide support with various finance-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of [£28000 - £32000 per annum] salary, depending on experience.
  • Experience in accounting or finance (preferably within a similar role).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (experience with financial software is advantageous).
  • A team-oriented mindset, able to work efficiently and collaborate across departments.
  • The ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
