Company Overview

Network Open, a leading provider of optical services, is seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team in South East London.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Optometrist to carry out domiciliary visits to nursing and care homes in the South East London area. As an Optometrist with Network Open, you will have the opportunity to work independently, visiting one to two nursing/care homes per day, and providing high-quality eye care services to elderly and infirm patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out full clinical tests for patients in nursing and care homes
  • Work independently, with support from an experienced Optical Assistant or Qualified Dispensing Optician
  • Use your own vehicle, with petrol expenses reimbursed at 25p per mile
  • Work Monday to Friday, with a first appointment at 9:30am and aim to finish at 4:30pm
  • Complete 15 tests per day

Benefits

  • Basic salary of £60,000 to £70,000 per annum
