Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Design Engineer to join our team at Newton Colmore Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our Medical Devices Design team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the development of new Medical Devices meets the highest standards of safety and efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our R&D team to design and develop Medical Devices that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct human factors analysis and testing to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
  • Develop and implement design solutions that prioritize user-centered design and meet the needs of our clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions are feasible, effective, and meet business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Human Factors Design Engineering, with a strong background in Medical Devices.
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements, including ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and IEC 62366 standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
