Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Factors Specialist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Patient Safety team, you will play a crucial role in improving patient safety and quality of care across the Trust.

Main Responsibilities

Provide expert advice on ergonomics and human factors to healthcare professionals and partners.
Contribute to the patient safety and incident management process, ensuring that patient safety strategies, systems, and processes are designed and managed to take account of human behavior and performance.
Assist healthcare professionals in delivering safer care through an understanding of teamwork, tasks, equipment, workspace, culture, and organization, and the application of that knowledge in clinical and non-clinical settings.
Support awareness building, capability, and effective use of ergonomics and human factors to improve patient safety across the Trust.
