Job Title: Senior Human Factors Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Factors Specialist to join our team at Newton Colmore Consulting Ltd. As a Senior Human Factors Specialist, you will be responsible for working on advanced engineering projects aimed at improving and/or saving people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply human factors commercial knowledge and experience to real-world hand-held medical devices
  • Work closely with world-class engineers, surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure their feedback is translated into the usability of the product
  • Improve the usability of the product, which will lower the risk to patients and increase accuracy of the end user

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of human factors principles
  • Knowledge of the medical devices sector and regulations
  • Product design, human factors, or psychology education
  • Open mind and willingness to challenge ideas
