About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our award-winning Energy team in London. As a key member of our team, you will provide assistance, support, and advice on all commercial issues across a portfolio of projects within our UK Energy business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the site team adheres to group procedures and governance
  • Prepare internal commercial reporting and other reports as required
  • Prepare valuations and applications for payment with full documentation in accordance with the contract
  • Prepare cost reports to the client with contractually compliant documentation
  • Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules
  • Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts from requisition preparation to final account agreement
  • Undertake contract administration, including change management and register maintenance
  • Identify commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering, and change
  • Use cost allocation/coding that satisfies internal and external requirements
  • Measure quantities in accordance with standard methods of measurement
Requirements
  • HND/Degree qualification
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor looking to step up
  • Registered with RICS/ICES and working towards chartership
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in construction/engineering/commercial background
