Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our diabetes service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with diabetes, their carers, and training for healthcare professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care to patients with diabetes, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of their condition.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve optimal diabetes control and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with diabetes.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in diabetes technology and treatment options to ensure best practice.
- Represent the diabetes team at meetings and contribute to the development of policies and guidelines.
