Podiatrist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a Band 6 Diabetes Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatric care to patients with pathological foot conditions and those at risk of developing serious foot health complications.
Main Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex foot problems, including those with limb or foot deformities affecting mobility and function.
- Develop and implement specialized treatment regimes and patient management programs to ensure optimal care.
- Collaborate with district nursing teams, tissue viability nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide education and training to Foot Care Assistants and students, sharing your expertise and experience.
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure best practice.

Requirements:- HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
- Experience in complication management, wound care, and nail surgery.
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
