About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatric care to patients with complex foot conditions and those at risk of developing serious foot health complications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of podiatric conditions, including complication management, wound care, nail surgery, and musculoskeletal issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Work closely with district nursing teams, tissue viability nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and training to Foot Care Assistants and students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure best practice in podiatric care.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
  • Experience in complication management, wound care, nail surgery, and musculoskeletal podiatry.
  • Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
