We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality podiatric care to patients with complex foot conditions and those at risk of developing serious foot health complications.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of podiatric conditions, including complication management, wound care, nail surgery, and musculoskeletal issues.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Work closely with district nursing teams, tissue viability nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and training to Foot Care Assistants and students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure best practice in podiatric care.
- HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
- Experience in complication management, wound care, nail surgery, and musculoskeletal podiatry.
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
