Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychiatrist to join our team at the Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a 24/7 service for individuals with moderate to complex or serious mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities

The postholder will be responsible for conducting clinics and home visits for patients referred to and under the care of the Home Based Treatment Team (HBTT). They will work holistically to support service users within their own homes and remain in the community, as per evidence-based practice.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register of the GMC or be eligible for entry to the Specialist Register within 6 months. They must also be Section 12 Approved and have or be eligible to have Approved Clinician Status.
