About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical leadership and expertise in General Adult Psychiatry, with a focus on preventing hospital admission and promoting community-based care.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a 24/7 service for individuals with moderate to complex mental health needs.
  • Conduct clinics and home visits for patients referred to and under the care of the Home Based Treatment Team.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the individual's needs and circumstances.
  • Participate in the Consultant On Call rota, providing additional support and expertise as needed.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise.
  • On GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months.
  • Section 12 approved or within 3 months.
  • AC status or within 3 months.
  • Knowledge, skills, and experience appropriate to this post.
