Clinical Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Fylde Coast Home Based Treatment Team (HBTT) at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing a 24/7 service for individuals with moderate to complex or serious mental health problems.
Main DutiesThe postholder will be responsible for conducting clinics and home visits for patients referred to and under the care of the HBTT. They will work holistically to support service users within their own homes and remain in the community, as per evidence-based practice. The main clinical duties will be arranged around conducting clinics and home visits for patients referred to and under the care of the HBTT.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to excellent peer support and a study leave budget of £3000 over 3 years or up to £5000 over 3 years for newly qualified Consultants. They will also have the opportunity to be a clinical supervisor and participate in digital leadership initiatives.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will hold full GMC registration and be included on the Specialist register of the GMC or be eligible for entry to the Specialist Register within 6 months of the interview date. They will also need to be Section 12 Approved at the time of commencing employment and have or be eligible to have Approved Clinician Status.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive remuneration package, including a Recruitment & Retention Premia for 3 years, as follows: 20% of basic salary in the first 12 months, 15% of basic salary in the second 12 months, and 10% of basic salary in the third 12 months.
