Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Biomedical Scientist to take on a leadership role within our Cellular Pathology Department. As Lead Biomedical Scientist, you will be responsible for managing a complex workload, providing operational leadership, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cellular pathology, with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior Biomedical Scientist. They should also have excellent communication skills, a proven ability to work effectively in a team, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Key responsibilities include managing and prioritizing a complex workload, providing effective operational leadership and management, and supporting the Trust's Human Tissue Authority Designated Individual to ensure compliance with regulations.
