Job Overview

This role is to implement or support the implementation of an integrated risk management across a major capital programme or project.

">

Main Responsibilities

">
  1. ">
  2. Leading risk commissions including team management">
  3. Facilitating stakeholder engagement to identify, assess, and prioritise threats, opportunities, and issues">
  4. Maintaining visibility of trigger points for timely risk cost profiling and drawdown or retirement">
  5. Monitoring overall risk exposure and assessing against the remaining risk budget and timeline">
  6. Proactively managing completion of management responses">
  7. Collaborating with the supply chain to assess contractor responsibility risks and their views on client risks impacting delivery">
  8. Producing and presenting fit-for-purpose risk reports in a timely manner to support effective communication of threat and opportunity status">
  9. Conducting quantitative risk assessments to inform project contingency and time risk allowance levels">
  10. Presenting key risk findings to clients, including assurance of supply chain risk management performance">
  11. Familiarity with web-based database/reporting tools - ARM, Xactium, Predict, Tableau, PowerBI">

Qualifications and Requirements

  • ">
  • A strong knowledge of Quantitative Schedule Risk Assessments (QRSA) and Cost Risk Assessments (QRCA)">
  • Experience in implementing integrated risk management solutions across portfolios, programmes, and projects">
  • Risk and Scenario Analysis workshop facilitation skills">
  • Understanding of Project Controls methodology and risk management interactions">
  • Senior management engagement experience on risk management">
  • IRM/APM risk certification preferred but not essential">

The estimated salary for this role is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
