About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious graduate to join our Thermal Land and Consents team as a Thermal Land and Consents Graduate. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in contributing to our mission to deliver flexible thermal energy in a net-zero world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with experts in the field to gain exposure and real-life experience in thermal land and consents.
  • Develop technical skills and knowledge in thermal energy and land management.
  • Contribute to the development of our low-carbon energy infrastructure in a sustainable way.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-profile projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 2:2 honours degree in a relevant discipline, such as geography, sustainability, environmental science, surveying, or planning.
  • Practical work experience that reflects your passion for the energy sector.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a team and using your own initiative to overcome challenges.
  • A genuine interest in SSE Thermal and the prospect of a long-term future with us.
