About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Land Agent to join our team at Hunter Dunning Ltd. As a key member of our rural consultancy, you will play a crucial role in advising on land rights, securing land for our clients, and assisting with compensation claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client visits and meetings across the region to understand their land management needs.
- Provide expert advice on land rights and help secure them for our clients.
- Assist with compensation claims related to rural and utility projects.
- Conduct valuations for renewable energy projects to ensure accurate assessments.
- Utilize digital mapping and land referencing tools to support our clients' land management needs.
- Regularly meet with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and up-to-date.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role as a Land Agent or Rural Surveyor.
- Full UK driving license and access to a car.
- MRICS or Registered Valuer certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Digital mapping experience is desirable.
- Experience in rural activities such as farming or forestry is also desirable.
