Senior Transition Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transition Consultant to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Transition team, you will play a critical role in the development of 'scheme specific' transition plans for Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement transition plans for PRT transactions, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to scheme members.
- Analyse scheme benefits and data to draft legal agreements, guaranteeing accurate benefit entitlement and scheme funding.
- Perform First Line peer reviews for team members on these documents, ensuring high-quality output.
- Take responsibility for the progress of allocated schemes, including regular reviews, to ensure prompt and appropriate responses to customer communications.
- Support the PRT New Business Origination team and Transition Managers in relationship management of key stakeholders, including client meetings and presentations.
- Collaborate with the Transition Team Manager to provide training and support to less experienced team members.
- Pension Qualification such as CII or PMI or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of pension regulations for DB schemes, including a detailed understanding of requirements for schemes in the process of de-risking.
- Understanding of the way benefits are structured and administered in Defined Benefit schemes.
- Ability to provide an accurate and cost-effective service by getting it right first time.
- Strong understanding of risks to the team and business, with a desire to actively reduce these risks.
- Strong organisational and change management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage tight timescales, prioritise own work, and escalate if necessary.
- Clear written and verbal communication is essential.
- Highly customer-focused, with an understanding of the need to maintain and improve relationships with internal and external customers.
