Legal & General is seeking a highly skilled Senior Transition Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Pension Administration department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of pension schemes from one provider to another.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement transition plans for pension schemes, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date throughout the process.
- Analyse scheme benefits and data to draft legal agreements that accurately reflect the terms of the transition.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that all parties have the necessary information to administer the scheme effectively.
- Provide training and support to less experienced team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in pension regulations and legislation, and ensure that our processes and procedures are compliant.
- Strong knowledge of pension regulations and legislation, particularly in relation to defined benefit schemes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a pension qualification or equivalent experience.
