Adult Care Services Director

The ChallengeWe are seeking a highly skilled Care Manager to join our team and take on the challenge of delivering outstanding care to our clients. As a seasoned professional in social care, you will possess the expertise and passion required to develop and implement effective care plans, supervise a caseload of complex clients, and manage complex issues, including safeguarding referrals.
Key Responsibilities:- Care Planning and Review: Assessing new clients and regularly updating existing care plans to ensure high standards of support and adapt to changes in health or personal circumstances.
- Supervision and Quality Assurance: Providing leadership, guidance, and supervision to carers allocated to your clients, maintaining regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks through regular audits and reviews.
- Safeguarding and Professional Liaison: Handling complex issues, including safeguarding referrals, conducting home visits to assess ongoing suitability of care plans, and verifying client environments remain safe and supportive.
To succeed in this demanding yet rewarding role, you will need:
- 2-5 years of management experience in social care, healthcare, nursing, or social work settings.
- RMN/RGN registration or a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing complex caseloads and supervising staff.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, carers, and external professionals.
