Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at the Buckingham Area Headquarters. As a Laborer, you will perform manual labor and other maintenance tasks as needed for project completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform flagging operations
  • Assist in setting up work zones
  • Perform heavy manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools
  • Operate light and medium equipment
Requirements
  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor
  • Skill in the operation, maintenance of light and medium equipment used for highway maintenance and repair
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of highway maintenance equipment, materials, methods, and procedures
  • Skill in the operation, maintenance of hand-held and power tools
  • Ability to read, follow oral and written instructions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in equipment operation and performing preventive maintenance
  • A combination of training, experience, or education in Maintenance, Construction or related field
  • Experience with emergency operations to include snow removal, storms, and accident clean-up
  • Experience performing roadway maintenance or construction activities
